Understanding mission types
Zambia's overseas posts carry different titles depending on whom they represent and where. The colour beside each mission below matches its type.

A mission accredited not to a country but to an international organisation such as the United Nations, led by a Permanent Representative.
Consulate-General
A subordinate office, usually in a major city other than the capital, focused on consular services — visas, passports, assistance to nationals and trade promotion.
