It is my honour to welcome you to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Italy. On behalf of the Government and people of Zambia, I extend warm greetings to all visitors — whether you are a Zambian national residing in or visiting Italy, an Italian partner exploring cooperation, or a friend of Zambia.
Our Embassy's primary mandate is to enhance and maintain strong bilateral relations between Zambia and Italy, as well as with international organisations based in Rome, in areas such as political cooperation, trade and investment, development cooperation, culture, education, and tourism.
Through the concerted efforts of hard-working Zambians, the support of Government under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema, and our partners in the international community, Zambia continues to soldier on in tackling the effects of drought and other consequences of climate change. I remain confident that Zambians shall emerge stronger from every social and economic challenge, rising above our difficulties at personal, family and institutional levels.
